More About Me – Therapeutic Storytelling (Extended Intervention)
More About Me is an in-depth therapeutic storytelling intervention delivered over 8–10 sessions, building on the foundations of the All About Me approach developed through Berry Street. This extended program provides children with the time, space, and support needed to explore their life story in greater detail and at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Across the sessions, children are gently guided to reflect on their experiences, relationships, and identity, with a focus on deeper meaning-making around significant events in their lives. The longer format allows for more comprehensive exploration of complex histories, including trauma, loss, and transitions in care, while strengthening emotional regulation and trust throughout the process.
More About Me supports children to develop a more coherent and integrated sense of self. By revisiting and expanding their personal narrative, children can build understanding, process difficult experiences, and foster a stronger sense of belonging, resilience, and confidence in who they are and where they are going.
